Paul Reynolds received his Bachelor’s Degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music studying under Robert Vernon. He completed his Master’s degree at Rice University, working with Roberto Diaz. Other teachers have included Martha Katz, Donald McInnis, and Willa Howells. Mr. Reynolds has served as Principal Violist with the Sarasota Opera Company, the New World Symphony of Miami, and the National Chamber Orchestra. He was also a member of the Florida West Coast Symphony and has played with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C.

As a chamber musician, Mr. Reynolds has played concerts throughout the U.S. and Europe. His passion for chamber music led him to become a member of the Coolidge String Quartet, the faculty quartet-in-residence at George Washington University, where he also served as Assistant Professor. He also enjoys occasional solo playing and has performed as soloist with the New World Symphony as a winner of their annual concerto competition.
Over the years Mr. Reynolds has participated in many festivals including the Mainly Mozart Festival, Pablo Casals Festival, Tanglewood Music Center, Spoleto Festival, Music Academy of the West, Pacific Music Festival in Japan, Santa Fe Opera, National Repertory Orchestra, and was a fellowship recipient for the Aspen Music School. Mr. Reynolds currently resides in Vermont and is on the Performance Faculty of Middlebury College and the Monteverdi Music School, and has taught at the Point Counterpoint Chamber Music Camp. He is active playing with such groups as the Vermont Mozart Festival, Capital City Concerts and the Vermont Symphony. On several occasions he has been heard live on Vermont Public Radio. Mr. Reynolds is a founding member of the Sky Meadow Chamber Players.
